Coolpad Cool M7 launched in China for 2,699 Yuan

Coolpad has just launched a new device Coolpad Cool M7 in its home country China for 2,699 Yuan (approximately Rs. 25,949).

In terms of design, the device holds many resemblances with the iPhone 7 Plus. The only difference is that it doesn’t feature a rear dual camera setup.

The Coolpad Cool M7 comes in Matte Black and Blue colour options. It has a slim metallic unibody with a single camera setup at the back. The home button sits in the front, bearing the fingerprint sensor. The smartphone packs a 3200mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with Cool UI 8.0 on the top.

In terms of specifications, Coolpad Cool M7 has a 5.5-inch full HD display with a 2.5D curved glass protection. The dual-SIM device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 2.0GHz octa-core processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage cannot be further expanded as the company does not provide a microSD card slot with this device.

Other specifications which include a 12-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 13-megapixel fixed focus front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and 79.8-degree wide angle lens. Besides, the smartphone has 4G/LTE, Hybrid Dual SIM, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and a USB Type C connectivity options.

As for now, the company hasn’t provided any information on when the smartphone will launch in India or other international markets. However, The smartphone is available in China for pre-orders on JD.com which is said to go on sale starting from August 26 at 10 AM.
