Online recruitment marketplace, Aasaanjobs has acquired mHire, a Noida based recruitment platform focused on skilled & semi-skilled blue & grey collar (i.e. entry-level) jobs. With this acquisition, Asaanjobs plans to strengthen its presence in North India and increase partners and clients base.
“This association further strengthens our footprint in North India. We are immensely excited about learning from mHire’s experience. The job market is evolving fast and there are a lot many dynamics and challenges at play. Our aim is to solve the problem together and we are committed towards resolving those,” Dinesh Goel, CEO of Aasaanjobs said.
Aasaanjobs was founded in 2013 by Dinesh Goel, Aditya Gupta, Gaurav Toshniwal, Kunal Jadhav, and Siddhartha Das. It is an end-to-end recruitment marketplace connecting employers, consultants, and job seekers. Most recently, the company has raised $5 Mn in Series A round of funding led by Aspada Advisors, Inventus Capital Partners and IDG Ventures.
On other hands, mHire was founded by ex-investment banker Priyank Bakshi and serial tech entrepreneur Bahul Arora, which connects employers, placement consultants, skill development institutes and job seekers through its tech-enabled marketplace.

The mHire was formerly known as DialJob, is backed by National Skill Development Corporation, NASSCOM’s 10,000 start-ups, Startup Oasis and Villgro. The startup has some of the country’s Select Staffing, Logistics, Security, Telecom and Retail companies amongst its clients. Earlier, mHire had acquired JobShikari to expand its footprint in the skilled manpower segment.
