Acer Tab 7, a budget Android tablet spotted on a Chinese online retailer JD.com retailing for an affordable price of 600 Chinese Yuan, or approximately Rs. 6,000. The device is even cheaper than the Iconia A1-830, which was recently announced by the company at CES 2014. The tablet is comparatively sleek and measures 191 x 112 x 9.9 mm with a light weight of 289g. The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
According to the source, the Acer Tab 7 flaunts a 7-inch screen with a 1024 x 600-pixel resolution and powered by a dual-core Cortex-A9 1.5GHz coupled with 1GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 32GB via external microSD card.
The tablet features a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera. It houses a 3,000mAh battery, which is said to give a backup of roughly 5 hours in running mode.
Connectivity options included Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack for audio support.
Since the device has listed only on a Chinese retail website so, it seems to be a China-specific product.
