Amazon launches new improved Kindle Paperwhite in India starting from Rs 10,999

Amazon has announced the two different variants of new Kindle Paperwhite in India. A common complaint with Kindle device was the slight lag while flipping pages or opening books that have been solved as Amazon said, the next-generation Kindle Paperwhite brings an improved display light and a faster processor.

Other improvements include a new touch technology that Amazon claims improve touch sensitivity and accuracy. A new feature called “Free Time” lets parents make some titles from their library available to their kids and they can track their progress.

It will be available from February 4 starting from Rs 10,999 for the Wi-Fi only version and Rs 13,999 for the Wi-Fi + 3G version, which is the same as the previous generation Kindle Paperwhite cost. You can pre-order the Kindle Paperwhite from here.
