Gionee, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer had launched ELife E7 in December. After ELife E7, the company is much close to launch a sequel of Gionee GPad G3 called the GPad G4. As FoneArena has spotted, the 5.7-inch phablet on an Indian e-commerce site available for Rs 18,999.
Its predecessor smartphone Gionee GPad G3 which was launched last year in November, featured a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, a 5.5 inch LCD 16 million colour output display, a 5 megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash light, 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB internal storage, and 32 GB expandable memory via SD card.
The GPad G4 features a 5.7-inch HD display with a resolution of (1280×720 pixels) and is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek 6589T quad-core processor with PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
Other features include a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash that enables user to capture a 1080p video, 5-megapixel front camera, 16GB of internal storage and a 3,200mAh battery.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/A-GPS. Gionee has built the display using OGS technology and an aluminum unibody. With the set of specifications, Gionee seems to all set to compete with Xolo and Micromax and Lenovo
