Karbon the Indian Smartphone vendor seems to be ready to launch a trip down version of Titanium S5 called the Titanium S5i, which is already listed on certain Indian e-commerce websites with a price tag of Rs 7,999.
Specification wise, The Titanium S5i comes along with a 5-inch FWVGA display compares to its predecessor, which also feature the same display size with the qHD feature. It is powered by a 1.0 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM instead of 1.2GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM.
The device features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA camera in front. The memory of this device can expandable up to 32GB using a MicroSD card slot and its in-house at 2,000mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
Connectivity options for the device include dual-SIM card slot, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS support.
At this price point, it will compete against the likes of Intex Aqua i4+ and the Lava Iris 50 among others. There is currently no mention of a date of availability, but the fact that it has been listed on e-commerce sites could mean that a launch isn’t that far off.
Last month, another variant of the Titanium S5 called the Titanium S5+ was spotted online, which is yet to be announced by the company. To recall of its specifications, the Titanium S5+ comes with a 5-inch qHD display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera with VGA front camera and 1,800mAh battery.
