Intex has recently launched a smartphone powered by MediaTek Octa-core processor in India. Another report by MMXnewscaster suggests that Micromax is going to bring next-gen Octa-core mobile processor with allegedly named as Canvas A350. As such there are no concrete details but since it comes from MMXnewscaster, the rumor seems to be true.
The device will have a 5-inch full HD display with pixel density of 441 ppi. It will feature MediaTek’s MT6592 1.7GHz true Octa-core processor paired with 2GB RAM and 16 GB of onboard memory which can be further expanded up to 64GB via MicroSD card.
Device rear camera will be 16 megapixels to compete with an international brand like Sony and Samsung. The Micromax Canvas A350 will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean version with its own customizations on the top. As the recent leak says it can be upgraded to KitKat 4.4.
Currently, there is no such information on the launch of this device but Micromax needs to launch to compete with other Indian manufacturers as well as International manufacturers.
