Founded by Vijay Rayapati, Anand, and Aparna Sharma, Minjar specializes in cloud implementation and consulting to help companies leverage the business value and benefits offered by cloud computing. In just 2 years of its operation, Minjar has become a Premier Partner of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the only startup in the Asia Pacific region to achieve the feat. There are only 27 Premier partners of AWS worldwide out of 15000+ AWS partners worldwide.

The company has now also built a growing partnership with Microsoft Azure, which is the second largest cloud platform after Amazon Web Services.

Commenting on the development, Co-founder Vijay Rayapati said, “We are basically scaling up our US-based business operations and will also be strengthening our product R&D. So, those are the two primary objectives behind the fundraising-for our US go-to-market and R&D.”

Interestingly, Minjar has over 150 business customers and almost 80% of its customers are based in the US. In India, it has customers like Godrej, Aditya Birla Fashion, Voonik, Prezi, PopSugar, BigBasket, Tata Motors, and Shaadi. Last year, it has clocked $2 Mn in ARR and expecting to push to $5 Mn this year.

Minjar had previously raised $900K in Seed funding from Silicon Valley-based Emergent Ventures who has also invested in companies like Cerebro Data, AlmaConnect, and SupplyAI.
