Motorola today announced its flagship product Moto X for the Europian market. The product will go on sale in UK, France, and Germany from February 1st and will be available at major retailers including Amazon, Phones4u, Carphone Warehouse, O2, and Techdata. This device has already launched in US market and available for sale.
The black variants of the SIM-free Motorola Moto X will be on sale everywhere in the UK for £380. You will also have the chance to get it for free as long as you are willing to sign a contract worth at least £25/month.
Specification wise there are no changes in the smartphone. Similarly to US version it flaunts a 4.7″ AMOLED display with 720p resolution and the X8 custom chipset with dual Krait cores. Device camera is a 10MP snapper, utilizing a new ClearPixel sensor for improved low-light capabilities.
There are no specifics on the availability of the Motorola Moto X in Germany and France, but we do know that the SIM-free price will be €429.
Unfortunately, it will not provide much customization on Moto X units to the European shores. Let’s see how the smartphone will fare without one of its key weapons.
