Olympus, an international photography equipment maker launches three cameras called Olympus OM-D E-M10, SP-100 and TG-580 in India. The OM-D E-M10 is priced at Rs. 53,990/- (body only), Stylus SP-100 at Rs.26, 990/- and Stylus TG-580 at 19,990/-
It seems the company understood the Indian customer behavior and it didn’t take much time to bring it to India. However, with the launch of these cameras, Olympus has reiterated their strong faith in the Indian market and the choice of the Indian consumer.
OM-D E-M10 is an entry-level mirrorless camera that has a 16-megapixel LMOS sensor and TruPic VII image processor. The product is an interchangeable camera that is priced at Rs 53,990. You try out any of the lenses as you needed.
Apart from this, the company has also brought another two cameras; the newly super zoom Stylus SP-100 and Tough TG-850 has been launched too.
With the OM-D EM-10m, the company is providing a complete package with the latest technology. The compact camera with a 50x super zoom lens that company claims to be first in the portfolio and the Stylus TG-850 is the first ever Tough series camera to be equipped with a tilting LCD”.
The company has also launched 2 new lenses, the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 Ez Zoom lenses and the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 25mm F1.8 the most compact and lightweight, high-image quality standard lens in its M.ZUIKO series and M.ZUIKO PREMIUM series respectively.
For photography lover who wants an extra grunt from their Interchangeable Lenses Camera; there is another new premium version of the E-M5 which comes with a 12-40mm f/2.8 lens. There are not many changes in internal features, but the outer design looks a bit different.
