CyanogenMod OS the most popular and alternative of Android has partnered with OnePlus to create a better hardware and software enabled smartphone called OnePlus One. It would be the first smartphone which is likely to be launched in first half of this year in selected markets.
According to OnePlus’s announcement, “The CyanogenMod team will work in tandem with us to combine the best hardware with the best software.”
Both the companies are optimistic as the smartphone industry is ripe for disruption, and 2014 may prove to be a huge year for the future of the market.
This announcement is a boost for CyanogenMod to avoid the deal with Google Play as it had very short appearance last year and been removed in November.
