Panasonic Toughpad FZ-M1 with rugged exteriors announced at CES 2014

The Japanese electronics giants, Panasonic has expanded it Toughpad portfolio with the launch of Toughpad FZ-M17 at CES 2014.

The toughpad FZ-M1 provides better durability as it is IP65 certified and fully sealed therefore it is completely safe from dust and water. And even the device survived if it falls from a height of 5ft.

The device has built into a 0.7”thick package with impressive specifications, but there are also some great options that make this rugged tablet highly customizable such as dedicated SmartCard reader, GPS supports, barcode reader, 10’ range RFID, magnetic stripe reader, NFC reader, and 3G/4G LTE wireless connectivity. Similar to other Toughpad and Toughbook PCs, the Toughpad FZ-M1 can be also optimized for multi-tasking.

The device runs on an Intel Core i5 vPro processor coupled with 4GB of RAM which can be upgraded up to 8GB. It has 128GB of SSD storage and 7-inch coated screen with a resolution of 1200 x 800, that helps to read in daylight.
