Google is reportedly working on an 8-inch Nexus tablet. The tablet might be launched in mid of 2014, as one of the online publication Digitimes suggests. The trade news website says that Google has been forced to focus on the 8-inch tablet market due to Nexus 7, which didn’t fulfil the expectation. Even there are many considerably products available in the 7-inch tablet market.
Even this time Google is considering both Intel’s Bay Trail-T and also Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor for the Nexus 8, according to unnamed sources familiar with the matter. Although, Asus the current Nexus7 maker is considered to have the first chance of building the alleged Nexus 8 for Google but there are also chances for Samsung, LG or Lenovo.
Recently, there was a rumor that Google debut with LG to prepare Nexus 8 tablet but it did not happen. Instead, LG released G pad8.3 a google play edition tablet which sells for $349.
Some other reports have also claimed that Google Nexus 10 would be unveiled at CES 2014 but Samsung Samsung did not make such announcements at CES.
