Samsung has confirmed the 2nd generation model of its Galaxy Grand smartphone in Indian market. The Galaxy Grand 2 smartphone comes with a better set of features than the previous model and offers 5.25-inch HD display and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating systems.
When we look at the device specifications, the phone comes with a 5.25-inch large HD (1280×720 pixels) display, a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory and can be expanded up to 64GB via SD card. The rear camera is 8-megapixel with autofocus, LED Flash, and support for 1080p video recording. The front camera is also having 2-megapixel which gives better quality for video call. Apart from these some other features in this phone include dual-SIM connectivity, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth v 4.0, and GPS/GLONASS, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and compass. The smartphone has a 2,600mAh battery with up to 10 hours of playback and 17 hours of calls.
Including Android 4.3 OS device also brings apps like ChatON, Samsung Hub, S Health, Group Play, S Travel, S Translator, Samsung Link, and Story Album.
Samsung has not revealed the price of this updated device but, we can expect the phone to be launched at a higher price. The device will be available in white, black and pink color.
