As earlier we were familiar that Samsung was working on a Smartphone that sits between the grand and grand 2 but it was a mystery what exactly it will be. Adding to these rumors, GSMarena has brought some more information about the specifications and price of this phone, which suggest it would be a mid-range Smartphone with a 5-inch display and a quad-core chipset.
According to the source, the Galaxy Grand Neo will feature 1.2GHz quad-core A7 chipset coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It will also feature a 5-inch TFT WVGA (800×480 pixels) display, a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a VGA front-facing camera.
Connectivity options on the Grand Neo will include Wi-Fi, HSPA, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, AGPS and GLONASS support. The leaked specs also show it will not support LTE network.
The Grand Neo will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and will feature a 2,100mAh battery, which will provide the required juice for the Smartphone.
The device seems to be launched for €299 in Europe, which is approx to Rs 25,338. However, if we consider the price of galaxy grand (Rs 22,990) and Galaxy Grand 2 (Rs 24,990), and compare with the specification. We really doubt, especially with this set of features.
