Self-drive car operator Zoomcar now operates in Tirupati

Self-drive car operator Zoomcar recently launched its services in Tirupati as the company saw a large traction of tourists demanding for the services in the city. Within few days of its operations in Tirupati, the company has completed around 300 successful rides in the city.

Presently, Zoomcar has 25 cars in Tirupati, ranging from Hatchback – Ford Figo, Maruti Swift, Honda Jazz and SUVs – Ford Ecosport, Hyundai Creta, Mahindra Scorpio and plans to add a luxury segment too. Being an official self-drive partner with Andhra Pradesh Tourism, Zoomcar is targeting a large audience ranging from tourists, and students who travel from various cities to visit the very famous temples and destinations around the city.

Speaking on the launch, Greg Moran, CEO & Co-founder, Zoomcar, “In Tirupati, we are bringing gambit of our services in the city where majority of tourists come all over the country. Our average fleet utility is more than 60%. We see an enormous potential in the city and can easily envision it becoming a 75 car market for us, within the next one year.”

The Self-drive car operator Zoomcar has a 5-member strong team at its Tirupati office that is managing  day to day operations to deliver the cars to the customers from anywhere in the city. As part of its geographical expansion in the Southern market, the company is planning to launch its operations in many more cities. The Zoomcar parking in the city is at the old exhibition ground near Tirupati Bus stand.

Users can book vehicles starting as low as INR 70/hour inclusive of fuel for a 5 Km/hour fuel package or choose from more flexible options of 10 and 15 Km/hour for self-drive renting on an hourly, weekly and monthly basis.

In the span of 4 years, Zoomcar has successfully achieved 30+ lakh happy customers, 10+ lakh trips and 3000 cars under its fleet.
