Skootr, a start-up which develops co-working office space and also provides customised office space for multinational companies (MNCs), on Tuesday announced the launch of its co-working office centre at DLF Cyber City in Gurugram.
The facility has a smartly configured floor plan and is designed to promote worker productivity in a collaborative environment. It is further equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and modern facilities.
The company had earlier acquired this 46,500 sq ft facility in DLF Cyber City, Gurugram for developing a managed co-working office space, which received over 80 percent pre-booking from customers.
Puneet Chandra, Co-Founder and CEO, Skootr said, “We have received unprecedented response for our facility in DLF Cyber City. There is a huge uptrend in Delhi-NCR for demand of managed and co-working office spaces. We have signed on some of the established Indian and European brands, who wanted to open their offices in India. We should be able to reach 95% occupancy by next month. With the addition of this 7th Center in NCR, we are amongst the largest co-working office players in Delhi NCR and our total seat capacity is now at 3000.”
Started in January 2016 by three friends Puneet Chandra, Ankit Jain and Anuj Saxena, Skootr provides managed co-working office space to start-ups, freelancers, SMEs, as well as customised office space for big corporates. The company has its presence in Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai and Jaipur with eight centres comprising 1 lakh sq ft of space. Skootr which has collaborated with DLF, Supertech is also planning to expand to five new cities this year and to a total of 30 cities by 2019 as there is an increase in demand for managed and customised co-working spaces.
With its customer-centric model of operations, Skootr is also focusing on offering value-added services to its clients through various tie-ups with other service providers and will soon launch a Skootr Value Card.
