Sony has announced two new Android smartphones Xperia T2 Ultra, a mid-range 6.0-inch phablet specifically designed for Asian and African markets. Another budget android smartphone called Xperia E1 for the music lover.
Xperia T2 Ultra has combined together with the best of Sony’s imaging and display technologies with ground-breaking design efficiency to produce a stunning LTE3 Android smartphone at a mid-range price point to compete against the Samsung Galaxy Mega.
Specifications wise, Xperia T2 features a 6” HD display (720p) with TRILUMINOSTM and Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 for mobile, a 13 MP rear camera with Exmor RS for mobile, 1.1 Mp front facing camera and Access to Sony’s “one-touch” ecosystem of 132 NFC connected accessories. The device is powered by Snapdragon Quad-core 1.4 GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage which can be further expanded by up to 32GB via Micro SD slot. It houses a Large 3000 mAh embedded battery with Battery STAMINA Mode.
The phone is available in two variants, the single SIM T2 Ultra and the dual-SIM T2 Ultra dual, in black, white and purple color.
Xperia E1 is a budget android smartphone in its walkman series. A solid feel, fast processor and vivid 4” display combined with fast data speeds provide an all round performance that is unrivaled by any other phone in its class, whilst its audio experience and content offer provide real differentiation. The device is specifically designed with the focus on audio playback aspects.
The device comes with a 4” WVGA (800 x 480) display, a 1.2 GHz dual core processor with 512 MB RAM and 4GB storage, WalkmanTM key, shake to shuffle and hardware controls for easy music control.
Similarly T2 Ultra, there are two variants of the E1, with single and dual-SIM options. The smartphone will be available in three different color black, white and purple.
