Xolo, an Indian smartphone maker has expanded its Q-Series portfolio with the launch of Q500 in the country. The new xolo Q500 smartphone is built with 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Quad-core processor with Adreno 203 graphics including 1GB RAM, which is enough to provide better performance on any multi-tasking operations.
It also comes with TransPic app that lets users translate Hindi text in images to English by simply pointing the smartphone’s camera at any poster or a sign board. The text is also read out loud using text to speech functionality. It also has point and grabs feature that lets users conveniently input the detected Hindi text to an internet search or send it as an SMS easily.
Other features include a 4.0-inch WVGA (800x480p) display with OGS display technology, Android v4.1 Jelly Bean OS, 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB), 5.0-megapixel main camera with LED flash and a VGA camera on the front side.
