Online travel and hotel booking company, Yatra Online, Inc. has partnered with budget hotel booking marketplace OYO to expand its hotel inventory.
Having recently raised $15.4 Mn debt from Innoven Capital, Yatra so far has access to over 65,000 hotels in India. This partnership will also bring OYO’s inventory for the first time ever onto an online travel agent platform.

Travellers will now not only be able to book OYO hotels on Yatra’s platform, but also make changes to their reservations and reach out to Yatra’s customer service when the need arises. Meanwhile, Yatra continues to expand its reach in tier II and III markets in India, and this partnership with OYO Rooms will further strengthen its position in these markets.
The company aims to maintain its lead as the largest aggregator of domestic hotels in India with over 70,000 accommodation options and as the biggest homestay aggregator with over 3000 home stays across 130 cities within India.
The Gurgaon-headquartered company was founded in August 2006 by Sabina Chopra, Manish Amin and Dhruv Shringi. It provides a full range of travel-related services such as domestic and international air ticketing, hotel booking, home stays, holiday packages, bus ticketing, rail ticketing, activities, attractions, ancillary services among a host of other travel and travel-related services.
