Zestl gets Funding from Lead Angels, Eagle10 Ventures, others

Zestl Software, a Pune-based workflow automation startup has raised an undisclosed sum in a pre-series A funding jointly led by Lead Angels, Eagle10 Ventures and Contrarian Vriddhi Fund. Other investors who participated in this round include Gemba Capital, Omphalos Ventures, Genesis IT Innovations, former E&Y India national director Sunil Chandiramani and former Rothschild India managing director Sanjay Bhandarkar.

“Existing SaaS (software as a service) collaboration
solutions fail to automate enterprise processes end to end. The gaps end up
killing user adoption and as a result RoI (return on investment). Zvolv gives
users applications that are highly customized to specific business processes”
said Prashant Pansare, co-founder, Eagle10 Ventures.

The company which is registered in India and the U.S., will
deploy raised funds in product enhancement, expand its sales and marketing team.
Further, it plans a full launch in the United States in the next six months. The
company had previously raised an undisclosed amount from a group of individuals
in its seed funding in late 2016.

Zestl was founded by Stanford University alumnus Hardik
Gandhi, IIT-Kharagpur graduate Pushkar Prasad and IIT-Kanpur graduate Kapil
Phadke in 2015. The company operates an enterprise SaaS platform Zvolv, which helps
enterprises transform their operations by building intelligent, collaborative workflow
automation apps.

“The Zvolv platform automates and adds structure to
chaotic people/data-centric collaboration processes, helping drive
organisational efficiency and faster time to market. Whether its opening new
outlets/stores, launching new products, distributed data collection and
business intelligence, or machine data-driven workflows, Zvolv applications can
be created in a matter of days, with no developer dependence,” Hardik Gandhi,
co-founder and chief executive of Zestl said.

Applications built using Zvolv incorporate AI, CognitiveAutomation, Analytics, Collaboration, Document Management and many other core functionalities. Currently, the startup works across FMCG, Hospitality, Education, Healthcare sectors. It claims to have more than 25 clients which include Domino’s Pizza, Future Group among others.
