Samsung Introduced Notebook 9 Pro at Computex in Taiwan

Samsung today launches a new laptop called Notebook 9 Pro at Computex in Taiwan. The Notebook comes with Samsung’s S-Pen stylus built-in and a 360-degree hinge that makes it a perfect convertible.

The S Pen includes 4,000 levels of pressure and the ability to detect tilt for shading (similar to Microsoft’s new Surface Pen). It also includes Samsung’s Air Command software for drawing, notes, and editing documents. Samsung is also ensuring its S Pen is fully compatible with Windows Ink, allowing Notebook 9 Pro users to use the stylus across all of Windows 10.

In terms of specifications, the laptop is powered by Intel’s latest Core i7 CPUs along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD. The device will come in two variants 13.3″ and 15″ and only 15-inch model gets 16GB along with the AMD Radeon 450 Graphics card.

For the connectivity purpose there would a USB Type-C port, two regular USB ports, an HDMI port and a microSD card slot. Both the device will feature a backlit keyboard and a Windows Hello camera for the logging into the device using facial recognition. There is no information available on its pricing and availability.
