Oppo Reno 5 Pro gets price cut on Amazon India; Is it still worth buying?

Oppo launched the Reno 5 Pro 5G in India last January. Almost after a quarter, the Smartphone now gets a price cut and it’s available at a massively discounted price on the e-commerce platform Amazon India.

Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G price has been slashed by Rs. 6,491 and the 8GB of RAM + 128GB of storage variant can be purchased at Rs. 32,499. Additionally, users can also get an exchange value of up to Rs. 11,650 on selected smartphones. This is a limited-time deal hence grab it as soon as you can. The smartphones are listed in two color options, Starry Black and Astral Blue.

In terms of specifications, the Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G comes in a 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a resolution of 1080x2400p and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset paired with Mali G77MC9 GPU. The chipset offers a smooth gaming experience and multitasking is possible. The device was launched with ColorOS 11.1, which is based on Android 11.

The Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G packs a 4,350mAh battery unit with 65W Super Flash Charging, which means it offers up to 4 hours of video playback in just 5 minutes of charging.

For imaging, the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G sports a quad-camera setup with LED flash. Camera sensors include a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a second 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Oppo Reno5Pro 5G gives you a 32MP front camera for selfies and videos. The device has become the industry’s first AI Highlight video mode to deliver the best video shooting experience.

Is Oppo Reno5 Pro 5G still worth buying?

While the Reno 5 Pro may still be worth buying. The phone has a great design and amazing videography features with fast charging. However, you can also opt for an upgraded processor and a new design on the recently launched Reno 7 series. For the uninformed, the Reno 7 has been launched at Rs 28,999, while the Pro model is priced at Rs 39,999. The brand already sells the Reno 7 series of smartphones along with the Reno 6 series in Japan.
