India-based sleep-science startup DUSQ, formerly known as InnerGize, has raised Rs 24 crore in a seed funding round led by Fireside Ventures. The round also saw participation from Antler India, Climber Capital, Startup Sherpas, Vaishav Investments, CaratLane’s Avnish Anand, and Cipla Health CEO Shivam Puri.

The company plans to deploy the fresh capital toward the global rollout of its proprietary sleep regulation platform and strengthening its neuroscience and hardware engineering teams. It also plans to expand its in-house sleep research lab and accelerate intellectual property development.

Co-founded in 2023 by Siddhant Bhargava, Shalmali Kadu, and Mitansh Khurana, DUSQ operates at the intersection of neuroscience, physiology, and consumer health technology. The startup aims to address sleep challenges through biological regulation rather than passive monitoring.

“We’re building infrastructure for human recovery, not another tracking device,” said Dr. Siddhant Bhargava, Co-founder of DUSQ. “This funding will enable India-built deep-science sleep technology to expand into global markets.”

Unlike conventional sleep wearables, DUSQ’s platform focuses on actively regulating circadian and neurological rhythms. Its core technology is designed to correct brain–body desynchrony, a key factor linked to fatigue, stress, and poor recovery. Over the past two years, the startup has analysed more than 50 million physiological data points to develop its proprietary sleep regulation model.

Founded by a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, neuroscientists, and engineers, DUSQ aims to position itself as a deep-science health technology company, targeting both consumer wellness and clinical recovery segments.

“DUSQ combines strong scientific depth with a differentiated, launch-ready product capable of defining the global sleep solutions category,” said Ankur Khaitan, Partner at Fireside Ventures.

The funding marks a significant step for India’s med-tech ecosystem and highlights growing investor confidence in science-led health innovation from the country.
