According to the latest tip, the Chinese smartphone brand iQOO is soon going to unveil its Neo series smartphone in India. The company recently unveiled both the iQOO Neo 6 and Neo 6 SE smartphones in the domestic market and the Neo 6 SE is only for the Chinese market.
Notably, iQOO has not yet released any smartphone from the Neo series categories in the country, however, there are a variety of Z series smartphones available in the market.
The tipster has also informed that the specifications of the smartphone will be different from those launched in China.
iQOO Neo 6 Specifications (China)
As stated earlier, the specifications of the Indian variant will be different. iQOO Neo 6 in China flaunts a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 397ppi pixel density.
The device also includes a dedicated display chip as it did in its predecessor – the iQOO Neo 5. This chip ensures that the screen is producing accurate colors and automatically adjusts to the environment to provide a better experience in low-brightness situations.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The handset packs a 4,700mAh battery that supports 80W charging.
The smartphone out of the box runs on Origin OS based on Android 12. Additional features on the device include in-display fingerprint scanner, dual speaker setup, dual linear motor for rich vibration and noise reduction algorithm.
In the camera department, the iQOO Neo 6 sports a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 64MP main sensor with f/1.9 aperture. The device also packs a 12MP ultra-wide lens along with a 2MP portrait sensor. There is a 16MP selfie snapper on the front of the smartphone. The rear camera also offers optical image stabilization (OIS) and 4K 60fps shooting.
IQOO Neo 6 Price in India
The tipster has also given information about the price of the handset on Twitter. If this leak is to be believed, then the new price of iQOO Neo 6 in India will be between Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 35,000. The new iQOO phone will compete with other premium devices from Xiaomi, OnePlus and others.
