Acer India, last Friday, made a statement about the launch of its gaming laptop Predator 21X in the country. The launch musters massive attention as the gadget happens to be the first of its kind to sport a curved display.
Pre-orders can now be placed on Flipkart and will reach the clients by 18 December. Acer Predator 21X has been marked by its monstrous price range of Rs. 6, 99,999. Acer exclusive stores and authorised e-commerce stores will also cater the distribution of the gaming laptop.
The announcement states that the first 300 notebooks will carry a limited edition series number on the panel. Each gadget dispatches with a custom ultra-durable hard-shell carrying trolley case for storage and secure transport. The pieces can be customized with combinations of graphics and engravings.
Curved 21-inch IPS display, screen resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels, 120Hz refresh rates, and G-sync support adds up to the key specifications of the device, which is powered by 7th generation Intel Core i7-7820HK processor paired with dual Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics cards in SLI. In addition, it also features the very recent Tobii eye-tracking technology, and Killer Double Shot Pro technology for fixing on fast internet connectivity.
Acer Predator 21X comes with a massive 64GB of DDR4-2400 RAM, up to four 512GB solid-state drives and a 7200 RPM hard drive of 1TB capacity. The gadget’s cooling system is forged with a merger of five system fans of which three are ultra-thin AeroBlade, nine heat pipes, Acer’s DustDefender and CoolBoost apps for improved heat dissipation during heavy use.
Specifications also include a full-sized mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches and individually programmable backlit keys, in combination with a convertible precision Touchpad. Powering the audio system is a set of dual midrange speakers, dual tweeters and dual subwoofers that render a 3-way audio design.
It is designed with two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI port, an SD card reader, and one USB Type-C/Thunderbolt 3 port. Acer predator is based on Windows 10, and can also work with Windows Hello face recognition. Despite of its least portability owing to the weight of 8.5 kg, the country’s most expensive gaming laptop is all set to hit the market with high-end gaming competence embedded to fascinate the aficionados.
