Moto Watch Arrives in India, Promises Up to 13 Days of Battery Life

Motorola has introduced the Moto Watch in India, announcing the smartwatch at an event in Mumbai alongside the Motorola Signature. The wearable will be sold through Motorola’s official website and focuses on health and fitness tracking. Motorola says the Moto Watch has been developed in partnership with Polar, a brand known for its fitness wearables.

Moto Watch price in India, sale date

The Moto Watch has been priced at Rs. 5,999 for the silicone strap version, while the leather and metal strap variants cost Rs. 6,999. Sales in India will begin on January 30 via the Motorola India website.

Buyers can choose from multiple colour and strap options. The silicone strap variant is offered in Pantone Herbal Garden, Pantone Volcanic Ash, and Pantone Parachute Purple colours. The leather strap model comes in Pantone Mocha Mousse, while the stainless steel version is available in Matte Black and Matte Silver finishes.

Moto Watch specifications, features

The Moto Watch comes with a 1.4-inch OLED display housed in a round dial, with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. It includes 4GB of internal storage and supports dual-frequency GPS along with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

For health tracking, the smartwatch offers features such as heart rate monitoring, blood-oxygen (SpO₂) tracking, sleep analysis, recovery insights, hydration reminders, and activity tracking including steps and calories. The device works with smartphones running Android 12 or later.

The Moto Watch is equipped with an accelerometer, gyroscope, PPG sensor, SpO₂ sensor, ambient light sensor, and an e-compass. According to Motorola, the smartwatch can deliver up to 13 days of battery life, with a quick five-minute charge providing up to a day of use.

In terms of durability, the Moto Watch carries an IP68 rating along with 1 ATM water resistance. It measures 47 x 47 x 12mm and weighs around 35 grams.
