Samsung has expanded its budget 5G lineup in India with the Galaxy A07 5G, bringing a large display, long battery life, and essential features at an aggressive price point. The phone targets buyers who want dependable 5G performance without stretching their budget.
The Galaxy A07 5G is available in two configurations in India—a 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant priced at ₹15,999 and a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model priced at ₹17,999.
The smartphone is offered in Black, Light Green, and Light Violet colour options, giving buyers a few style choices at launch.
What’s Under the Hood
The Galaxy A07 5G comes with a 6.7-inch HD+ display that supports a 120 Hz refresh rate, promising smoother scrolling than many rivals in this price segment. It runs on Android 16 with Samsung’s One UI 8 out of the box, and Samsung has committed to six years of software and security updates, which is unusually strong support for an entry-level 5G phone.
Battery life is a highlight—the phone packs a 6,000 mAh battery with 25 W wired fast charging, a capacity that should easily last a full day of regular use.
Camera and other specs
For imaging, there’s a 50 MP main rear camera paired with a 2 MP depth sensor and an 8 MP selfie shooter on the front. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, while a fingerprint sensor and other standard sensors complete the package.
With its combination of a large battery, smooth display, and long software support promise, the Galaxy A07 5G aims to stand out in India’s highly competitive budget 5G segment. Its pricing makes it one of the more affordable 5G-ready phones from Samsung in the country right now.
