Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro launched, know when is coming to India

Last month, Vivo launched the new Vivo X80 series in the Chinese market. Now, the X80 series along with the X80 and X80 Pro has gone official in the global market. The smartphones share the same specifications as their Chinese counterparts. The Pro series comes with only one Snapdragon processor in the global market, while in China it is available in both Snapdragon and MediaTek variants.

Vivo X80 Series Price

The Vivo X80 price starts at RM 3,499 (approximately Rs 61,800), while the X80 Pro starts at RM 4,999 (approximately Rs 88,300). The Standard Model has been launched in Cosmic Black and Urban Blue color variants, while the Pro model will be available in a single Cosmic Black color variant.

Features of Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro

Talking about the specification, Vivo X80 has a 6.78-inch Full HD + AMOLED display, which has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and HDR10 + support. The handset runs MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. Vivo X80 includes a 50MP Sony IMX866 sensor with Carl Zeiss optics, 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12MP portrait camera. For selfies, the device houses a 32MP front-facing camera sensor. Furthermore, a 4,500mAh battery fuels the Vivo X80 which comes with 80W fast charging.

The X80 Pro, on the other hand, has the same 6.78-inch AMOLED screen; However, it supports Quad HD + resolution. The device comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the global market paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Other features of the X80 Pro include quad cameras, a 4,700 mAh battery with support for 80W fast wired charging, 50W wireless fast charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

Vivo India’s official site to confirm the upcoming launch of the X80 series. The brand has not clearly revealed the launch date. However, the official site has shown a timeline for the launch event, which indicates that the Vivo X80 series will be launched in India on May 18.
