Huawei Honor 7X goes for open sale for 12,999 on Amazon

Following three successful flash sales, Huawei is geared up to present the brand new Honor 7X for open sale from Saturday onwards. Users can now purchase the gadget without any fuss of registration or rushing in within a timeframe. The earlier flash sales were conducted on Amazon India, and Huawei claims that the number of registrations for these sales exceeded a million. Open sales will also occur on the same platform.

The smartphone is priced at Rs. 12,999 for 32GB variant and Rs. 15,999 for the 64GB variant in India. Amazon offers no-cost EMIs, 80 percent off on Kindle eBooks up to Rs. 300 and a combo Airtel data offer with up to 90GB of free data along with the product, adding to the enthusiasm of customers. Honor 7X ships in Aurora Blue, Midnight Black and Platinum Gold colour variants.

P Sanjeev, Vice President Sales, Huawei India-Consumer Business group made the following statement on the company’s decision to go for open sales: “After three blockbuster sales, we have received many requests for another sale for our Honour 7X and are humbled by the response received.”

“Owing to a great response we had extended the sale till 4 pm in the last flash sale held yesterday and have now decided to go ahead with an open sale. For our consumers who could not buy the device during the previous flash sale(s), can now get their hands on the global bestseller on Amazon.in starting 23 December.”

Each piece comes with a 5.93” full HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS display, and is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 659 octacore SoC with four Cortex A-53 cores clocked at 2.36 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.75 GHz, coupled with 4GB RAM. The dual-SIM donned gadget runs on EMUI 5.1, based on Android 7.0 Noughat.

The camera part is a combination of dual rear camera and an 8-megapixal front camera. The rear camera combo includes a 16-megapixal primary sensor and a 2-megapixal depth sensor, along with PDAF and LED flash. Memory can be expanded upto 256 GB in a hybrid dual-SIM setup.

Honor 7X sports versatile connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB. Accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, fingerprint sensor and proximity sensor are on board.
