OnePlus 43-inch Y1S Pro Smart TV is to be launched in India tomorrow

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus, which also has smart TVs in its product line-up, is all set to add a new smart TV under the OnePlus Y1S Pro series. Ahead of the official price announcement on April 7, the full specifications and features of the all-new OnePlus 43-inch Y1S Pro Smart TV have been revealed on Amazon and the official site.

Hardware Specifications and features

In terms of hardware specifications, the OnePlus 43-inch Y1S Pro features a 43-inch screen with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (a 10-bit display capable of reproducing 1 billion colours). The Smart TV is powered by a 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

Coming to its design, the smart TV comes with a bezel-less border, along with the OnePlus logo at the bottom and the regular TV stand bracket. Furthermore, the smart TV packs a 24W speaker setup with support for Dolby Audio and is said to deliver crystal-clear sound. Although it runs on a slightly older version of Android TV 10 OS, you may get the latest TV OS update soon.

There’s also OnePlus’ TV skin, along with OxygenPlays 2.0, you get support for the Google Play Store and Play Services as well as built-in Chromecast and Google Assistant.

You also get the OnePlus Connect 2.0 which brings features like TV control, sleep detection, smart volume control, quick and easy setup (OnePlus TWS) and auto-pause from the OnePlus Watch. Some other features related to the software include Miracast, DLNA and Chromecast.

Coming to its picture quality, the OnePlus 4K TV is equipped with AI-powered visuals like MEMC which provides greater clarity, better colors, dynamic contrast and content optimization, and OnePlus’ Gamma Engine optimizes the display quality and intelligently tunes the picture for clear content. It also comes with MultiCast features, a smart manager, Data Saver Plus and many more.

In terms of port options, you get two USB 2.0, three HDMI 2.1 (one with eARC), 1 RJ45, 1 RF, AV input, and one optical in. Other features include kids mode, wireless remote, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and 6.0 Kg weight with the stand.

Keeping in mind the specification and its features, the price of the OnePlus 43-Inch Y1S Pro in India can be around Rs 30,000. However, we must wait till the official announcement which is tomorrow. The new Smart TV will face stiff competition from other Smart TVs like Redmi X43 TV, VU 4K TV, iFFalcon Smart TV.
