Transsion Holdings subsidiary brand, Tecno Mobile has launched a new smartphone called Tecno Camon I in India. The smartphone comes in Champagne Gold, Midnight Black and City Blue colour options with a price tag of Rs 8,990. It will be available in the first week of February through offline channels across India.
In terms of specifications, the Tecno Camon I is equipped with a 5.65-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) FullView display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor along with Mali-T760 GPU. It has a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card slot.
For the photography, Tecno Camon I has a 13-megapixel rear camera with Quad LED flash and PDAF while there is another 13-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The Camon I is backed by a 3050mAh battery and it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with company’s HiOS running on top of it. The phone also features a fingerprint sensor at the back panel.
On the connectivity front, the device supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, OTG, dual-SIM and micro USB port.

With the notable features and specifications, the smartphone competes with recently launched Micromax Canvas Infinity and the popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. The company is also offering 100 days replacement warranty, one-time screen replacement, and one-month extended warranty over and above the 12 month warranty period.
